This is a Part Time Paid Internship
MID SEPTEMBER 2026 THRU EARLY-MID NOVEMBER 2026 (Flexible)
ROLE:
PG Upstate is seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual for the Operations Intern aka Assistant Event Coordinator position. In this role, you will provide essential in-person and remote support to help ensure the smooth operation of events and overall efficiency of regional management. You will provide direct support to the PG Upstate directors.
As an Operations Intern, you will be instrumental in the day-to-day logistics and behind-the-scenes operations of Perfect Game events. This role requires a proactive approach, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assisting the PG Upstate tournament directors with gathering information pertinent to running successful events
• Team roster monitoring and player management
• Assist with recruiting, managing, and scheduling DiamondKast workers
• DiamondKast tech support
• Social Media management
• Provide administrative assistance in PG Upstate's satellite offices, but not limited to, answering phones and providing customer service, etc.
• Assist with storage management
• Assist with tracking, prepping, and distribution of awards and equipment
• Work during the week and on weekends
• May be required to assist neighboring markets on occasion
• Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be currently enrolled in a college or university and eligible to receive college credit and/or soon to be graduate/ recent graduate
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
