The Job
Perfect Game Midwest is looking for a purpose-driven individual with a genuine interest in learning about the industry. The Marketing Intern will assist in the marketing of youth fastpitch and baseball tournaments. You will be creating multimedia content, assisting with the management of all social media channels, assisting in the creation of marketing strategies, and other tasks as needed. The right candidate must be a trustworthy and passionate team player. This person must also have a love for the game and the athletes, families, and coaches we serve.
The Daily
• Collaborate with the marketing team on the creation of materials for events
• Assist in content creation, both written and video
• Assist with the management of PGMW social media channels and subsequent calendars
• Create graphics for use in print and online materials
• Assist with creating and implementing marketing strategies for tournaments, different brands under the PG Midwest umbrella, and other events/activities as assigned
• Special projects as assigned
• Assist with office communications (social media, emails, phone, etc.)
• Assist in other areas of PG Midwest such as marketing, event coordination, logistics, etc. if needed
The Essentials
• Punctual and self-motivating
• Good organizational skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to work independently as well as with a team
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite products as well as Microsoft Office
• Experience with CRM systems a plus
• Strong graphic design abilities desired, but not required
The Details
• Students must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
• Paid Internship
• Approximately 600 hours
• 40 Hour work week -- flexible based on needs
• Weekend shifts required
• Meets college internship requirements
