100% Remote Position, All work and meetings are virtual for this position
NDNC is required for the position.
We are looking for a detailed orientated intern who will be able to handle working with Influencers, Actors. Actresses Athletes and celebrities for publicity while attaining a professionalism and anonymity.
This intern will work directly with Perdue Inc., the company's partner to capture product placement and media placements of Homestead Entertainment's film and tv campaigns. Other clients range in fields of business.
Main duties include but not limited to arranging sufficient press coverage for clients through submissions, writing media alerts, press releases and direct contact with journalists, news reporters, and staff of media agencies. Apart from such coverage, the Junior Publicist often maintains the Perdue Inc.'s website and social media sites through directly updating or contacting contractor
Act as an assistant for Manager and Sr. Publicist, Francis Perdue. Light Office duties such as inputting data, checking, main submission email for new messages and follow-ups and setting appointments for the Jr. & Sr. Publicists.
Communicating with project coordinators and/or clients and commencing rolling calls for Sr. Publicist.
Ex. Red Carpet Events, Charity Events, Networking Events, Award Shows, Product Launches, etc.
Manage clients that are signed under the management and publicity portion of the company
Following Up w/ clients on information such as details of deals, updates of possible deals, etc.
Oversee plans of action after proper training for integrated marketing plans and connector services.
Chosen intern will be cutting pieces that will be published on the web/or on social media, in addition to some assistant tasks. There is a strong learning curve if you want it!
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required. Knowledge of social media, Cision , Qwoted, Report Mule, Canva, Influencer Intelligence, Word Press, After Effects, DVD Studio Pro, and/or Adobe editing are a plus.
Intern should be detail oriented, self-motivated, and complete work in a timely manner.
We are looking for a commitment of 10-20 hrs a week.
This is not a paid internship, but we believe in production-based compensation. When reimbursements are available, they will be given on a per job basis and approved by the Sr. Publicist. Room for growth allows intern to move within the company to the position of Jr. Publicist, Social Media Manager and/or Content Manager w/ training.
