IndieWire: Integrated Sales Planner
Now celebrating its 21st year, IndieWire is the voice of creative independence, covering film, TV, and digital for a passionate audience of content creators, industry and fans.
To help sustain our continued growth, we are looking for an Integrated Sales Planner - to join our team. This person will learn to help increase IndieWire's advertising revenue through the development and execution of standard and custom programs and campaigns for our clients.
Responsibitiles:
- Create and execute RFPs by generating ideas, writing and designing proposals, and preparing media plans
- Work with clients and their agencies to ensure all deliverables are received and track campaign performance
- Develop sales materials, including case studies and post-sale sponsorship recaps
- Prospect for potential film, theatrical, and TV tune-in campaigns as well as potential OTT and VOD clients
- Collaborate with Data, Sales, and Ad Ops teams to supplement proposals with competitive research and data
- Research and present new and unique marketing strategies to keep IndieWire a top-of-mind advertising partner
- Coordinate sponsors' activation logistics and provide support for IndieWire-sponsored events
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (Marketing or Communications preferred, but not required)
- Ability to provide exceptional client service to both internal and external teams
- Must be a self-starter with strong multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong presentation skills in front of internal teams and clients
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Exposure to digital media planning or marketing with a publisher, agency, or company is a plus
- Exposure to film and TV marketing is a plus
- Passion for film and/or TV is a plus
