This is a Full Time Job
Seeking a full-time assistant to help with primarily personal and some professional work.
Position is one of the first points of contact for the firm and assistants will be expected to speak with clients, agents, and other professionals. Given this, the ideal candidate needs to be warm, outgoing, and have a good sense of humor while still maintaining a professional nature on the phone and in person. Candidate must also be a self-starter, detail-oriented, organized, and able to adapt with ease to a hectic day with shifting priorities.
Please note that the position is mostly personal and administrative - e.g., managing the calendar, drafting correspondence, rolling calls, setting personal and work appointments, travel, doctor's appointments, teaching boomers technology (over and over), etc. There is an opportunity to build your own contacts and relationships.
Previous entertainment industry experience and familiarity with NY and LA agents, managers, and other industry professionals is a plus but not mandatory. Applicants should be bright and motivated to work in the entertainment industry.
The work environment is casual, and friendly and rewards hard work and initiative both in terms of compensation and assistance in pursuing any other industry goals. We encourage employees to ask questions and strive to reach goals. The tools are here but it is on you to utilize the tools.
Our firm embraces and celebrates equal opportunity, and is committed to building a team that is as diverse as the talent we represent. We encourage all qualified applicants to apply and do not discriminate based on race, religion, color, national origin, gender (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, status as a protected veteran, status as an individual with a disability, or other applicable legally protected characteristics.
