The Position
The Vice President, Distribution Partnerships will play a critical role in providing centralized ongoing management of key distribution partnerships, including MVPD and wireless, to scale Peacock's reach and engagement. This role will report to the Senior Vice President, Distribution Strategy and Partnerships.
Responsibilities
include, but are not limited to:
• Support sourcing & negotiation of app distribution deals, including working across Peacock and other NBCU teams to determine and prioritize asks, as well as evaluate the financial and strategic impact of terms
• Work closely with the Strategy & Finance groups to align new and existing partnerships with the overall business model
• Establish KPIs and goals with each partner; track key performance metrics including customer acquisition, active accounts and usage
• Understand partner priorities and objectives, identify opportunities to align with Peacock goals
• Establish and manage collaborative relationships with key internal leaders, including Ad Sales, Content Distribution, Partner Marketing, Technology, Product, Data, Legal and Finance to identify, prioritize and execute on growth opportunities including marketing campaigns, offers, on device placements, product enhancements/integrations, bundles and other initiatives
• Represent partnership in tech roadmap discussions to communicate needs and impact, and advocate for appropriate prioritization
• Coordinate with partner operations teams to ensure that integration and execution workstreams are on track, and that any issues are surfaced and resolved
• Lead regular business meetings with partner to share learnings and performance insights; establish quarterly business reviews with partners and internal stakeholders to drive core growth KPIs and manage streamlined business processes
• Work closely with Partner Marketing to ensure consistent communication of editorial priorities, marketing performance and learnings, content slate and upcoming product features
• Work with the Strategy & Insights teams to understand broader industry trends and comparative partner performance; share partner performance, insights and actionable recommendations with the broader executive team
• Build ongoing relationships with industry peers and counterparties to further strategic distribution relationships
Qualifications
/Requirements
• Minimum 12 years of experience in strategy, business development or partner operations in connection with television, film, or digital media distribution
• Deep understanding of the MVPD landscape and business

• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and departments to align around goals and manage day to day delivery
• Strong partnership and relationship building skills
• Superior organizational and communication skills, exceptional ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, start-up environment
• Familiarity with negotiating, understanding, and enforcing contracts
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand business cases, analyze data, and debate financial models with senior stakeholders
• MBA degree preferred
