POSITION TITLE: Sales Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Sales

SUPERVISOR: VP, Sales
PBS Distribution (PBSd) is a leading distributor of public media content around the world, reaching audiences through multiple platforms and formats while generating revenue for the public media system, stations, and producers. Extending our reach beyond broadcast, we operate five streaming channels on Amazon Prime Video Channels.
PBSd is seeking a highly organized and analytical Sales Coordinator to join our Sales team. The Sales Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and project support to the International Sales Team. The position interfaces with current and potential clients to provide information and communication as directed by the Sales Team.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales Coordinator is responsible for providing a variety of administrative and project support to the International Sales Team. The position interfaces with current and potential broadcast clients to provide information and communication as directed by the Sales Team. The Sales Coordinator maintains effective reporting during the entire sales cycle to monitor sales pipeline and activities. The position is responsible for the coordination of sales cycle activities, follow-ups, screenings, scheduling and the coordination of sales events as needed.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supplies International broadcast clients with PBS and GBH program information and communication as requested by Sales team.
Assist with sales activities, including sending information about new content, delivering images and promotional requests where needed.
Maintains and updates sales pipeline database, lead referral lists and lead information as directed by Sales team.
Coordinates with International Program Manager to ensure all marketing materials are accurate and accessible to our international broadcasters.
Supports Sales team with final format check of presentations, standard documentation, customer proposals and quotations.
Works closely with International Program Manager to coordinate marketing materials shipping for special events, trade shows and conferences.
Researches and collects information for market analysis, RFP's and prospective opportunities including weekly status reports from website activity and screening views.
Coordinates conference calls, meetings, webinars and special events on an as needed basis by VP of Sales.
Submits sales invoices through Finance as directed by Sales team.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
1-2 years of professional experience in an administrative or sales coordinator role in a dynamic environment.
Experience in a television, media production or sales company preferred.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Focus in communications, marketing, sales or media preferred.
SKILLS:
Effective verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Exceptional customer focus with both internal and external customers.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
Ability to work in a team environment both collaboratively and independently.
Experience with Creative Cloud Suite and Photoshop a plus.
Knowledge of international television landscape a plus but not required.
LOCATION:
PBS Distribution is headquartered in Arlington, VA with an additional office In Boston, MA. The Sales Coordinator will be located in Boston, MA.
