Intent to hire Post-Production Supervisor for feature film A locally based individual living within 50 miles or less from the St. Louis Missouri metropolitan area will be hired after interviews conducted with Post-Prod Supervisor candidates. The Post-Prod Supervisor will be available on set towards the end of each shooting day for delivery of video assets via an External Hard drive or flash drive. The AD and Director will have a daily folder for the full day of taping to provide to you. This folder will be very organized to compartmentalize video assets by date and clearly named by scene number/scene name during production. After some time, a large amount of accumulated film assets will be able to be access based upon your strong attention to detail on effectively categorizing the video assets and audio asset files for review as dallies by the director and eventually for the editor to pull the files from. A single day of direction from the director and AD, in person, during the final rehearsals, will require the presence of the Post- Prod Supervisor for testing and planning for the future filming days. Once Principal photography begins the Post-Prod Supervisor will ensure all dallies are categorized separately for the day of filming, he/or she picks up and then after selection the final film assets are then categorized and available online for the Director, AD and DP to review at a moment's notice via online accessible links. As a guide the call sheets and with script in hand the Post-Prod Supervisor will ensure the scene numbers match the call sheets and scene numbers for online video filing. Duties are comprised of coming to or leaving the set with assets supplies needed for production success which includes ensuring a computer and external hard drive are capable of holding all video/audio assets throughout the lifetime of film production and post-production.

include: Arranging a specific time during principal photography to meet with Director, AD, and DP to review video and audio assets daily. The setup dallies video files for review with each day of filming. Manage the administration of the department and organize paperwork (emails and electronic files), documents, proper storage of final video and audio masters and offline editorial materials. The Post-Prod Supervisor maintains good communication between the production and post-production editor and assistant editor and make bookings for ADR sessions and preview screenings when needed before the film is placed into a final cut. Then after tweaks and expectations the Post-Prod Supervisor with set a time to meet with the Director, AD, DP in person. A custom film email address will be setup and coordinated for dallies.
- Post-Production Schedule: March 31st (First half of film or specific scenes begin editing-plus trailers) through July 31st . Editor needs to be present for discussion between director, AD, DP and Post-Prod Supervisor to smooth the process with talent during rehearsals on zoom and in person.
- Post-Production delivery of film. Approx. August 1st , 2024. The Post-Prod Supervisor needs to ensure the editor and assistant editor have a screener cut ready by August 1st . The post-production supervisor will be at the discretion of director and producer, relived of duties in the month of August after ensuring the editor is set up for success to take the baton of a final cut. The editor and assistant editor will assume full post- production responsibilities on this date established. The editor will prepare for the ensuing slight edit changes after screener is screened and commented on with final modifications along with color correction, sound and delivery to director and producer for a final cut by September 30, 2024. The Post-Production supervisor is allowed a viewing of the final cut even though they are no longer under contract for friendly or critical comment to the director.?
