Full Time Job
GRNDVW MUSIC & MANAGEMENT, a boutique artist management, record label, and publishing company based in Los Angeles, CA is looking to hire an energetic and self-driven full-time in-house graphic designer with mixed media experience. This position demands a dynamic, detail-oriented individual with previous graphics and media experience. They will report to the executive team as well as day-to-day managers. General duties include: graphic design, video and image editing, and overall content creation and design. Candidates must be proactive with a ''can-do'' attitude.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
• Super motivated and a self-sufficient designer with a passion for music, art and design
• Possess knowledge of current and emerging trends in music, art and design
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc)
• Create tour admats, e-cards and e-newsletters for newly announced shows, special offers and event reminders to increase writing skills, persuasive communication, and brand integrity.
• Write creative and relevant copy for promotional use and to better understand the various types of writing necessary for e-blasts, media pitches, press releases, etc.
• Proofreading and quality assurance of ad materials to ensure that the department is accurately and efficiently displaying client information.
• Update marketing and promo assets for upcoming shows as relayed by the marketing agent or tour marketer to better target audiences as new information (support, set list info, tour art) is added.
• Creating video content for all clients
• Create engaging content for various social media platforms and trailers
• Organize and import all video footage
• Organize and edit footage for all clients and promotional trailers; logging in new footage, finding requested footage, and posting requested footage in a timely manner
• Provide support to shoot footage or assist with other tasks, such as creating simple text for trailers and pitching ideas for upcoming projects
• Delivers high level creative on schedule.
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
• 2+ years of graphic design experience
• Experience working in a busy office (preferred), or a similar fast paced environment with high pressure situations
• Superior attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage a variety of tasks simultaneously and efficiently
• Ability to work individually and in a team environment
• Ability to handle sensitive information with extreme confidentiality
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc)
