Intern

This is a Part Time Paid Internship

We are looking for undergraduate or graduate students interested in a career in documentary filmmaking. Our interns will get the opportunity to work closely with the directors and producers on various aspects of production. Among the many job duties, interns will conduct research to find supporting evidence for facts quoted on the scripts, view raw footage, transcribe interviews and log footage, prepare for shoots.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
-an intern who can commit 2-3 CONSECUTIVE days a week, approx. 10-6pm if possible
-Approximate internship length is 3 months
-has an interest in filmmaking
-*willing to get hands dirty and willingness to do anything from coffee runs, research for scripts, basic office jobs,
running errands to post houses
-reliable, organized, strong communications skills
-familiarity with MAC applications
-ability to multitask and work with deadlines

WE OFFER:
-a chance to work closely with producers, directors, AP's, PA's, etc. in various aspects of filmmaking
-participate in local film shoots when possible
-opportunity to see what it takes to create a television program from concept to creation- work on various stages of documentary process from helping set up shoots, to viewing/logging footage, to script support
