Intern - Music Licensing

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Currently seeking interns who have an interest in the publishing and licensing side of the music business. Chosen interns will be involved in song clearance, cataloging, music supervision, editing, artist outreach, and more!

Ideal candidates will be organized, creative, responsible, and hard working. Most importantly, they will have a strong passion for music!

Other Preferred skills:

• Knowledge of the music business (publishing/licensing)
• Vast knowledge of all musical genres
• Strong written communication skills
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
• Social Media Marketing Experience
• Reliable transportation
• Comfortable on the phone
• Experience with basic sound editing
• Fast learner who is eager to get their foot in the door

So far we have placed music in outlets as varied as Universal, PBS, Discovery Channel, MTV, HBO, A&E, and Microsoft Windows 7, where our music is one of three pre-loaded tracks in the Media Player!

This is a great opportunity/learning experience for someone who is looking to break his or her way into the music industry.
