This is a Full Time Job
An in-office position in downtown Manhattan that will be providing day-to-day support to the CEO in a project management capacity. The right hire is someone who can work with and motivate people with a range of personalities, can hold people accountable, and who has a no-nonsense attitude. Minimum of 3 years in-office experience. Prior corporate office or talent agency experience and project management experience a plus, but not mandatory.
Profile:
-You have experience working on various projects at different stages at once and are unflappable when it comes to short deadlines and quick turnaround times. You're resourceful with a problem-solving mindset, self-sufficient and a self-starter.
-You are organized, detail-oriented and a team player who understands that no job is too big or too small with a can-do attitude.
-You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and are not easily intimidated by high-stakes situations. This includes being comfortable speaking in front of small or large groups of people, being clear and concise on messaging and coordinating communications not only within the CEO's team, but with clients, the agency as a whole and outside parties, as required. You are not afraid of having and initiating difficult conversations, addressing problems, or providing recommendations.
-You can take direction and execute strategies, are a team player and are not above working on administrative tasks such as database management, monitoring inboxes, and other miscellaneous tasks that may be asked of you.
-You are not afraid or intimidated by working with numbers or spreadsheets. This job will require analysis of sales numbers to help inform client and agency strategies.
-You are ready to tackle any project, obstacle and/or opportunity that is thrown your way and are able to anticipate the needs of the department and agency, all while being personable, professional and using good judgment.
Proficiency with AirTable, Canva, Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Zoom
The Role:
Project Management: This role requires you to work closely with the CEO, a high-performing senior level literary agent, and her team on client publications, which include creating and following marketing and publicity plans and working with the Editorial Director to ensure production and publication schedules are working seamlessly. You will be working on various publications at once ensure client experiences are best in class.
Communicate with Various Parties: You will coordinate with the CEO's team, clients, the agency and outside parties, as required, to ensure everyone is on the same page and executing as planned with the goal all boxes are being checked and anticipating any issues that may arise and problem-solving before it becomes an issue.
Sales Analysis: You will be perform sales and royalty analysis to help inform client and agency strategies, including managing domestic royalty statement collection and preparation, conducting audits and writing reports as needed.
