Paramount , a direct-to-consumer digital subscription video on-demand and live streaming service from ViacomCBS, combines live sports, breaking news, and a mountain of entertainment. The service is also the streaming home to unmatched sports programming, including every CBS Sports event, from golf to football to basketball and more, plus exclusive streaming rights for major sports properties, including some of the world's biggest and most popular soccer leagues. Paramount also enables subscribers to stream local CBS stations live across the U.S. in addition to the ability to stream ViacomCBS Streaming's other live channels: CBSN for 24/7 news, CBS Sports HQ for sports news and analysis, and ET Live for entertainment coverage.
ViacomCBS Streaming oversees the company's streaming technology and is comprised of world-renowned direct-to-consumer services across free, premium and pay including Paramount , a subscription service that combines breaking news, live sports, and premium entertainment and Pluto TV, the leading free streaming television service in the U.S. with 250 live and original channels
We are looking for a strategic and solutions oriented executive with experience leading creative marketing production, operations and working alongside project management for tv networks or streaming services. With a focus on Paramount , this role is responsible for developing and helping define process (alongside project management) and infrastructure, identifying best practices, fostering high-performing and collaborative teams, driving positive change. The ideal candidate can bridge the gap behind the scenes between creative, technical and marketing. They will collaborate effectively with other department heads, and creative team leads to maintain process and meet deadlines to ensure timely delivery of marketing elements (including trailers, key art, digital display elements, etc.) Manage communication with department heads when things are late, and with the CMO when large timelines are at risk. The role will require consistent communication and collaboration with other departments to ensure workflow is happening as needed.
This role entails the following responsibilities and experience:
-Is able to drive large scale, high level, cross departmental/cross platform initiatives in a
creative, systematic and planned structure.
-Strategic business professional experienced in impacting business direction with successful leadership decisions.
-Motivating leader with proven success managing cross-functional teams.
-Works closely with the central project management team around every step of the creative marketing production process.
-Partner with marketing, creative and project management leadership to produce best in class creative content to support brand IP across all platforms: on-air, social, digital, out-of-home, experiential design.
-Oversees teams responsible for production, centralized post operations and video production.
-Lead the team trafficking and managing all creative requests from Programming, Partner and Brand Marketing along with Press, Social and creative needs.
-Work with International and Distribution teams to ensure campaign deliverables and localization are met on time and on budget.
-Leveraging a deep knowledge of editorial systems, production technology, workflows and management, design and improve upon current system-
-Oversees legal routing and manages music and art licensing processes with music and media licensing teams.
-Creator of production plans and strategic development initiatives.
-Oversee assignment grid for various production teams.
-Oversee and optimize creative and production budgets for individual campaigns and Originals.
-Manage internal centralized production resources and external live action production agencies to maximize efficiencies.
-Help organize operational efficiencies across brands and studios to ensure the most effective and efficient workflow.
-Evaluate all vendor relationships and implement streamlined sourcing plans for video, print, key art, display and post production.
