Paramount Products & Experiences Strategy is a highly visible team responsible for the identification, analysis, and development of strategic initiatives to drive the long-term profitability and growth of the business worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Summer Strategy Intern to support the development and execution of the growth strategy for Paramount P&E. The role requires superior modeling skills as well as strategic and analytical thinking, business development, collaboration, communication, and multi-tasking skills. The successful candidate will possess the ability to interface effectively with multiple levels of management across P&E and Paramount.
• Construct financial/analytical models in support of various strategic opportunities, potential acquisitions, and other financial deals. Summarize and communicate key learnings to senior management
• Collaborate and coordinate with members of the Paramount P&E strategy and executive team in the development and execution of key global growth initiatives - particularly as they relate to new media platforms, new business opportunities, and geographic expansion
• Identify, define, and analyze trends/strategies across major markets in relation to the consumer products (e.g., toys, apparel, home, CPG), publishing, and experiences (e.g., theme parks) industries
• Identify areas of research and perform appropriate qualitative and quantitative analyses; perform primary and secondary research as needed
• Create compelling, persuasive presentation materials to communicate key learnings, outcomes, and recommendations to senior level executives
• Proactively identify new growth opportunities (e.g., new product categories/channels, alternate business models, emerging trends)
• Participate in variety of senior meetings with professionalism and credibility
Qualifications:
• 2 years of experience in strategic planning, management consulting, or investment banking role highly desired
Eligibility:
• You must be available to intern full-time (5 days a week/36-40 hours a week) for 10 weeks total starting in June.
• Interns will be required to work fully on-site for the duration of the program. Note: Paramount does not provide financial relocation support or housing stipends.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‘'time basis.
• Employment eligibility to work with Paramount in the United States is required as the company does not engage in sponsorship for internships.
