This position will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Executive Vice President of Strategy & Operations for Paramount Pictures. This role ensures the smooth functioning of the EVP's office by managing schedules and coordinating communications between internal departments and external key stakeholders.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
• Manage executive calendars and schedules, coordinate meetings with internal and external participants
• Screen and respond to calls/emails; draft, review, and manage correspondences, including memos and meeting agendas and notes.
• Schedule internal and external meetings
• Support preparation of basic PowerPoint materials and assist with analysis and research
• Support the EVP in strategic priorities and monitor and prioritize incoming requests, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups
• Anticipate executive needs and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts or operational bottlenecks
• Greets scheduled visitors and conducts to the appropriate area or person
• Prepare monthly expense reports
• Liaises with internal departments and external entities as needed
• Perform other ad hoc duties as needed, including maintaining files, preparing agendas, and copying documents
• Arrange travel plans and itineraries
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• 1-2 years of experience in an administrative support role
Additional Qualifications
• Interest and knowledge of the film business strongly preferred
• Administrative experience supporting a high-level executive, preferably in entertainment
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with staff, internal and external contacts and senior management
• Ability to be adept at multi-tasking, prioritizing, and managing projects in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to handle confidential materials and demonstrated professional maturity
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and internet software
• Entertainment industry knowledge
• Strong organizational skills, with ability to attend to details while maintaining a big picture orientation
• Ability to handle a wide variety of tasks with little or no supervision
• Good attention to detail and follow-through skills
• Self-starter, preemptively identifies potential issues and responds accordingly
• Demonstrate good judgment and ability to deal with confidential and sensitive issues
• Passion for media and entertainment
