As an Audience Acquisition Marketing Specialist, you will work alongside the paid social advertising team in managing paid campaigns on social platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Snap, Pinterest, TikTok or Reddit. You will help with setting up and managing paid social campaigns, working on setting up the right audience targeting profiles and building paid social ads. You’ll also help monitor metrics and results from the paid social campaigns, to help understand which tactics and audiences are the driving most activity and engagements. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in paid social advertising and will be looking to further their career within paid social to understand how they can help drive business goals and evaluate against key performance metrics (KPIs). The ideal candidate shows a strong work ethic who strives to continually learn and grow their digital marketing skills. The candidate must be organized, punctual and professional. The role will support the team’s efforts on paid acquisition campaigns, with special focus on paid social campaign operations and processes.
Your Day-to-Day:
• Build and traffic campaign, ad groups/sets or creatives/ads through various paid social ad managers/platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Snap, Pinterest, Reddit, TikTok, among others either platform direct or using a social management platform such as Sprinklr, Smartly, etc. and use of an ad server such as CM360 to build ad tags
• Q/A campaign builds to ensure accuracy for set-up details, such as naming convention protocols, 3P tagging requirements and other trafficking needs, ensuring the correct tags are being used and data is flowing through to internal dashboards
• Monitor campaign performance and delivery, ensuring campaigns deliver in full to the agreed upon flight dates and budget spends. Proactively take action if campaigns fall short, either with makegoods or other adjustments by working closely with the paid social team for feedback and direction.
• Help with monthly campaign actualization and reconciliation, making sure internal dashboards are correct and working with internal BI teams to correct any data or naming convention issues
• Collaborate with partners and internal team to ensure billing accuracies, including invoice tracking and submission
• Collaborate with larger MACS team to communicate campaign progress, learnings, and updates in the paid social media industry
• Monitor activities of competitors and industry trends
• Execute special projects as needed
Key Projects:
• Build and launch paid social campaigns/ ad sets/ads with accuracy for tags, names, details
• Monitor campaign KPIs and pacing to benchmarks
• Process invoices and ensure timely payment
• Provide key reports insights to aid in strategic decision-making across campaigns
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 2 years of hands-on social (i.e. Facebook, TikTok, Snap, Pinterest, etc.) across multiple clients, preferably from a media agency or entertainment-based organization.
• Experience using a social ads management tools such as Sprinklr, Smartly, AdEspresso, Hootsuite, Kenshoo or Marin
• Strong computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
