The Coordinator, Social Marketing Operations supports the Social Marketing team by helping manage day-to-day operational workflows, tracking budgets, and coordinating vendors to ensure the smooth execution of social-first marketing campaigns across Paramount DTC. This role partners closely with Social Campaign Managers, creative teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to support the development and execution of social content from concept through launch.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a high volume of fast-moving projects in a deadline-driven environment. This position plays a key role in supporting social campaign operations, vendor coordination, and workflow optimization, while collaborating with teams across multiple time zones, including frequent partnership with East Coast teams.
Responsibilities:
• Support social marketing operations, including budget tracking, expense reporting, and forecasting for social campaigns
• Partner with Social Campaign Managers to track costs, timelines, and deliverables across assigned social initiatives
• Assist with vendor onboarding, contractor engagement, and procurement for social creative and production needs
• Monitor spend against approved social budgets and assist with intercompany bill-backs as needed
• Maintain and update key social marketing documentation to ensure accurate visibility into budgets, timelines, and deliverables
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Creative, Production, Legal, Licensing, Finance) to support social campaign execution
• Support the development, implementation, and optimization of social workflow systems and processes, including Airtable tracking
• Partner with Licensing and Legal teams to coordinate and process licenses required for social content usage
• Process travel and expense reports in Concur in compliance with company policies
• Provide general administrative and operational support to the Social team as needed
• Identify opportunities for new tools, processes, or efficiencies to improve collaboration and execution across social workflows
Basic Qualifications
• 1–2 years of experience in social, digital, or brand marketing; creative operations; or production at a studio, network, agency, or digital publisher
• Working knowledge of major social platforms including TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube, and emerging platforms, with an understanding of how content, timelines, and deliverables vary by platform
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software, systems, and tools
• Passion for social media, digital storytelling, and Paramount brands
Additional Qualifications
• General understanding of social media content production workflows and campaign budgeting
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with project management tools such as Airtable or similar platforms
• Familiarity with Jira, SAP, Slack, Microsoft Office 365, and Google Suite
• Strong attention to detail with proactive problem-solving and anticipatory skills
• Ability to assess, improve, and implement workflows and processes
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed organization
• Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing shifting priorities
• Positive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented mindset
• Experience in social or entertainment marketing preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
