Overview and Responsibilities:
The SVP, Tech FP&A is a key executive leader within the Corporate Finance and Tech organizations, reporting directly to the EVP, Corporate Finance & Investor Relations. This role is responsible for partnering with the Chief Product Officer to accurately forecast Paramount’s full Tech P&L, leading forecasting, consolidation, analysis, and reporting across monthly forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans (LRPs). The SVP drives financial transparency, enables data-driven decision-making, and ensures a timely and accurate tech forecast. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments, has extensive prior experience partnering with tech leadership in a scaled organization, and fosters cross-functional collaboration through strong leadership and strategic insight.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Lead the forecasting and consolidation of P&L forecasts, budgets, and LRPs across Paramount Tech, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and alignment.
• Deliver high-impact financial analysis and reporting to the Chief Product Officer and other Executive Leadership by highlighting trends, KPIs, risks, and opportunities.
• Own and optimize financial planning systems (TM1, Longview, Hyperion), collaborating with system administrators, controllership, and business units to streamline submissions and automate workflows. Be a critical contributor to the design and implementation of future planning systems (Oracle).
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Investor Relations, and Treasury teams to maintain data integrity and strategic alignment.
• Support Corporate Finance with board and executive presentations, complex scenario modeling, and cash forecasting.
• Provide analysis and documentation to meet requests from Tax, Audit, SOX compliance, and M&A teams.
• Advance strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth and profitability.
• Actively lead a high-performing team, cultivating a culture of feedback, development, and engagement. Apply best-in-class leadership practices to attract, develop, and retain top talent across all levels.
Basic Qualifications
• 15 years of experience in Finance with direct experience supporting tech organizations, ideally within Media & Entertainment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Proven success in senior leadership roles involving high-level planning or financial planning & analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
• Results-driven mentality with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of delivering compelling financial narratives to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated experience engaging with CEO, CFO, and other senior stakeholders.
• Strong relationship-building skills across finance and business functions.
• Strategic foresight to anticipate analytical needs of senior leadership.
• Inspirational leadership with a focus on coaching, team engagement, and change management.
