Overview:
The Global Streaming Research and Insights team is tasked with developing deep insights of Paramount streaming audiences around the world, then disseminating those findings within the company. Through research and insights initiatives within and across key markets, we support Paramount's streaming businesses, focusing on Paramount and Pluto TV.
Reporting to the Senior Director, this role requires someone who is multifaceted, adaptive, and sees no task as too big or too small. The Senior Analyst should know how to interpret data and consumer research and be comfortable working individually and as part of a team. They must demonstrate the ability to manage and evaluate large data sets and juggle various requests at any given time, in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
• Under the guidance of the Senior Director, mine third-party syndicated tools for insights that will drive continued growth for Paramount and Pluto TV.
• Provide support for primary research projects including desk research, survey review, link checking, data validation and presentation creation.
• Manage team administrative duties, including updating Sharepoint sites, project platforms, and distribution lists. Assist with vendor setup, contract management, finance tracking, and invoice processing.
• Support the Senior Director in providing ad-hoc analyses, inclusive of multiple data sources, to answer key business questions and provide strategic insights.
• Contribute to maintenance and expansion of insights tools and systems for usage of the wider business.
Basic Qualifications
• Completed Bachelors Degree.
• 2 years in media research, preferably at a media owner (TV/streaming/digital) or at a research agency.
• Experience drawing and analyzing data from syndicated media research tool suites such as Nielsen, Antenna, MRI-Simmons, Ampere and/or YouGov.
• Proficient PC, Excel and PowerPoint skills a must.
• Fluency in English, with great written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Qualifications
• (Preferred) Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Airtable or Monday.
• (Preferred) Experience with dashboards and visualizing data using Tableau a plus.
• The ability to manage a variety of projects, tasks, requests, and changing priorities in a complex, dynamic business environment.
• Positive attitude, proficient interpersonal skills and ability to form well-developed professional and working relationships.
• Strategic thinker with proficient analytical skills.
