Overview & Responsibilities
We are seeking a driven Senior Manager, Procurement – Facilities & Services to lead sourcing initiatives, manage supplier relationships, and ensure operational excellence across a range of facilities and service categories. This role plays an important part in supporting the company’s procurement strategy by delivering cost savings, operational efficiency, and reliable supplier performance in support of day-to-day operations and workplace experience. Serving as a trusted business partner to senior leadership, this position partners closely with Operations, Real Estate, Finance, and Legal teams to align procurement activities with enterprise goals and ensure value delivery across all facilities and service spend areas.
Reporting to the Director of Procurement, this role will drive measurable impact through focused sourcing, partner collaboration, and the development of scalable procurement processes that enhance business performance.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Lead or support end-to-end sourcing projects across facilities and service categories such as building maintenance, utilities, janitorial, security, cafeteria/food services, and workplace operations.
• Deliver sustainable cost savings and total value through strategic sourcing, supplier performance management, and contract optimization.
• Conduct spend analysis to find opportunities for savings, efficiency, and service improvement.
• Partner with internal partners and senior leaders to define requirements, build consensus, and implement sourcing strategies that support operational excellence.
• Develop and implement supplier management programs that drive accountability, performance, and innovation.
• Negotiate complex and/or large-spend service agreements while leading risk and ensuring compliance with corporate governance and policies.
• Provide accurate and timely reporting, presentations, and insights to leadership, effectively communicating sourcing outcomes and financial impact.
• Establish and improve procurement processes, tools, and ways of working in a dynamic environment where structure and standard processes are evolving.
• Lead multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment with a focus on proactive problem-solving and partner satisfaction.
• Foster collaboration across teams and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the procurement function.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• 8 years of procurement experience, including category management with a focus on facilities, operations, or services sourcing.
• Proven experience negotiating and leading complex service contracts (e.g., building operations, maintenance, food services, or utilities).
• Strong partner management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and present to senior leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to create and implement procurement processes, frameworks, and efficiencies in evolving environments.
• Analytical perspective with the ability to interpret spend data and translate insights into actionable sourcing strategies.
Additional Qualifications
• Familiarity with procurement systems (Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, or SAP).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to lead competing priorities effectively.
• Entrepreneurial and self-motivated; comfortable operating autonomously and establishing new processes where needed.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to build strong cross-functional relationships that drive business results.
• Demonstrated ability to lead supplier relationships effectively.
• Successful experience leading a team, managing and/or supervising others.
