Overview and Responsibilities:

This role is for You! We are actively seeking to add a new team member, the Senior Manager, People Leader Learning, to the Paramount Learning Team. We are part of the People Development group, which also includes Talent Management and Engagement.

You are a collaborative and solution-oriented team member who thrives most when working in an inclusive and psychologically safe team environment. Facilitating learning programs energizes you! You have the credibility and platform skills to engage people leaders at all levels in dialogues, including giving feedback on core management capabilities. You can design novel content and innovative experiences to help managers understand and apply new skills. Check out the fun ways you’ll be able to contribute:
Your day-to-day:
• Design, develop and facilitate compelling learner-centric training courses, cohort based learning journeys, blended content, and action-based learning experiences that support people leaders across 4 broad categories (Management Fundamentals, Communications, Building Team & Culture and Leadership Effectiveness)
â-‹ Frequency of facilitation will average 2-3 days/week with ~2-hour courses
• Program-manage a small group of select vendor partners in the delivery of learning journeys; provide feedback and suggestions to improve impact and learning transfer
• Collaborate with HR business partners (HRBPs), People Development partners and business leaders to identify performance gaps and build programs / other interventions that accelerate employee success
• Evaluate the business impact of people leader learning programs, communicate insights that assist in increasing positive behavioral change, and make necessary adjustments to refine solutions and increase efficacy
• Partner closely with other team members to craft and implement comprehensive learning reinforcement programs to increase impact and encourage application / habit formation
Key projects:
Within the first year you will have dramatically changed the learning culture at Paramount by delivering on the following high-impact projects:
• Contribute to the design and own the delivery of a menu of People Leader training courses, journeys and related initiatives that help leaders be their best selves at work and in life.
• Capitalize on your creativity to test novel approaches (ex. Team Achieve (K)its and podcasting, etc.) that emphasize lasting behavior change
• Build a repository of actionable tools (derived from the learning programs) that help people leaders incorporate training ‘into the flow of work’
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Learning and Development, Organization Development or Human Resources
• 4 years of Learning and Development or related experience (e.g. Training with adult learners in a corporate or similar environment; facilitation of change management or organizational development initiatives)
Additional Qualifications:
• Strong facilitation skills â€'' you’re able to thoughtfully respond to questions, manager disruptions and move a group through course content while balancing inclusion and timing; you can weave in related content to make connections for learners and adjust or pivot when needed
• Excellent presentation skills â€'' you convey ideas clearly and succinctly, highlight key takeaways and translate impact; you have strong presence, can quickly build rapport with others, and are comfortable in front of audiences of varying sizes and levels
• You have an approach that is flexible, resourceful and agile and can adapt to changes and shifting priorities to meet organizational needs
• 4 years of instructional design experience focused on building innovative and solution-oriente
