Overview & Responsibilities:
The Senior Financial Analyst will be an important member of the Paramount Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. As part of the Global Content Finance team, the Senior Financial Analyst will report directly to the Director, FP&A, and will assist in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of Paramount global content reporting, as well as create analyses to facilitate informed decision-making.
This position offers the right candidate an exemplary opportunity within a successful and growing global media organization. It will provide wide-ranging exposure to the evolving interactive content industry while working within the broader media umbrella of Paramount.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
â- Assist with Paramount global content reporting process, collaborating with domestic and international business partners to ensure accuracy and consistency across all content finance
â- Create, refine, and manage complex financial models to support content expense optimization and strategic decision making
â- Perform value-added analyses using content KPIs, business metrics, and global market trends to inform executive team content decisions
â- Partner with internal business partners to gain insights, share best practices, and drive process improvements across the global content finance operations.
â- Support the companyâ?'s integration with Oracle Fusion.
â- Run and analyze reports from the general ledger.
â- Ad hoc requests and analyses will be frequent.
Basic Qualifications
â- Bachelorâ?'s Degree required
â- Finance/Accounting/Economics/Mathematics major preferred
â- Minimum of 4-5 years experience in FP&A, finance or equivalent quantitative roles
â- Basic accounting knowledge
â- High level of proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets, experience in preparing complex financial models and manipulating large datasets
â- Strong communicator with the ability to moderate based on audience and demonstrate an ability to partner with a range of cross-functional partners â- Experience in a highly analytical environment
â- Strong work ethic and an acute attention to detail required
â- Ability to work quickly and accurately on multiple projects concurrently

â- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
â- Experience with P&L management and forecasting
â- Prior experience in media/entertainment, specifically in content, is highly desirable
