The team for Paramount is responsible for servicing ViacomCBS’s premium online content around the world. Overview & Responsibilities
This Senior BI Analyst position will be responsible for developing and generating reports, insights & analysis across multiple systems, focused on Paramount content discovery, content performance and audience insights. As a senior member of the team, you are expected to lead projects from concept to delivery across both lenses - how subscribers find their content on Paramount and how we can cluster subscribers based on their behavior. You are expected to communicate the findings to the content executive team, and layer in audience insights to make better recommendations.

Responsibilities
• Partner with stakeholders to understand the requirements for the project, and translate it into actionable deliverables. Manage the project from requirements gathering to delivering impactful analysis
• Effectively communicate and translate quantitative findings (storytelling with data) to business stakeholder, and make strong & meaningful conclusions and recommendations
• Mentor other Business Intelligence Analysts on methodology, best practices, and data visualization design to build dashboards, reports and analyses that concisely illustrate how the business performs against key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Lead multiple projects focused on content discovery and audience insights
• Work with data and tracking engineers to track & validate the data flows, and summarize the data in efficient way; implement best practices for creating summary tables, which are to be used across BI team/s
• Collaborate with internal partners and stakeholders around content discovery within Paramount , to evaluate and improve ways subscribers are accessing content on the service and to better understand how these features impact content consumption
• Use statistical analysis to develop and enhance models centered around content. This includes valuation, attribution, optimization and subscriber segmentation/clustering
• Build dashboards (using Tableau and other BI tools) that illustrate how key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics are changing over time.
• Work with data engineers to build efficient summary tables that facilitate the reporting infrastructure needed for the content discovery reports and analyses
• Create detailed analysis that deepens the understanding of subscriber behavior, and provide recommendations to improve the retention

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience (Master’s degree preferred)
• 3 years experience in web analytics, online media industry.
• Strong experience in web analytics, video analytics (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) and 3rd-party syndicated audience measurement services (comScore/ Nielsen)
• Proficient with analytical tools and languages supporting data analysis, reporting, and visualization - Excel, Microsoft Office, Google Collaborative Apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Tableau, R, Python
• Expert in extracting data from databases using SQL
