Title: Planner, Pricing & Inventory

Reports to: Senior Vice President, Pricing & Inventory for CBS Television Network
Location: New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and other geographies
The Planner, Pricing & Inventory at Paramount Advertising works under the direction of the Senior Vice President of Pricing & Inventory. This role focuses on creating sales plans for television commercials and includes participating in sales negotiations, managing inventory, and maintaining buyer relationships. Responsibilities also include preparing and maintaining stewardship reports, developing audience estimates, and utilizing data for cross-platform campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build sales plans for television commercials
• Participate in sales negotiations and manage inventory
• Negotiate makegoods directly with agencies
• Maintain buyer relationships and provide support to account executives
• Prepare stewardship reports for network schedules on assigned accounts
• Develop basic audience estimates and price lists
• Evaluate A.C. Nielsen audience reports and use digital metrics for cross-platform campaigns
• Present data and reports, with a focus on numerical analysis and detail
Qualifications:
• 1-3 years of TV media sales/planning or agency media buying experience
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
• Some media research or media planning experience preferred
• Analytical skills and the ability to present data effectively
• Advanced project management skills
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines
• Proactive, well-organized, and able to work independently
Salary:
$60,000.00 - $63,000.00 annually, depending on experience and location. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability benefits, tuition assistance, and PTO.
