POSITION OVERVIEW
CBS Television Stations–New York is seeking a motivated and results-driven New Business Account Executive to sell the full Paramount Global portfolio, including CBS New York (WCBS-TV), local news, and Paramount streaming solutions. This role is focused on driving both linear and digital revenue by developing strong client relationships within the New York market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Drive linear and streaming advertising revenue across CBS News & Stations and Paramount platforms.
• Develop and grow direct client relationships within the New York market.
• Manage quarterly and annual account plans to increase revenue and market share.
• Prospect, develop, and close new business, including non-traditional and sponsorship opportunities.
• Prepare accurate weekly and quarterly sales forecasts.
• Partner with internal teams–including Integrated Marketing, Account Management, Traffic, and Finance–to deliver customized, multi-platform solutions.
• Work closely with Account Managers to ensure seamless campaign execution from pre-sale through post-campaign recap.
• Stay informed on marketplace trends, category dynamics, and shifts in the linear and streaming landscape.
• Represent the station at client meetings, presentations, and station-sponsored events.
• Maximize revenue opportunities around tentpole programming, sports, and special events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
• 2 years of advertising experience, preferably within television, digital, or multi-platform media.
• Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding revenue goals in a competitive sales environment.
• Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to build long-term client partnerships.
• Experience working with advertising agencies and direct clients.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively while managing a high-volume, fast-paced book of business.

PREFERRED SKILLS
• Multi-platform sales experience (linear digital/streaming).
• Proficiency with WideOrbit, Strata, Salesforce, and Microsoft Excel.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail oriented.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
