Overview & Responsibilities
The Trade Marketing & Communications Manager plays a critical role in the production and execution of Paramount Advertising’s owned and operated Now Series and industry-facing events related to trade partnerships! This candidate has an entrepreneurial and collaborative approach, is savvy about the media industry, is comfortable working cross-functionally across a matrixed organization with multiple partners and has a passion for B2B events and marketing communications.
You will report to the Senior Director, Trade Marketing & Communications, and work hybrid out of the New York office!
Responsibilities include:
• Handle communications for owned & operated Now Series including website build, list curation, and invite send and management.
• Lead production for industry events including set builds, on-the-ground support, and logistics (including but not limited to, relevant printed/online materials, electrical and layout requirements for booth/stage needs).
• Complete panel prep, comms and management, and speaker care (scheduling panel prep calls, coordination of schedules, collecting assets from speakers).
• Track event deliverables and schedules (vendor payments, list management, lead generation management, partnership asset deliverables and deadline management).
• Build and maintain an annual industry trade calendar, including and not limited to events owned by trade partners and associations, competitors and clients.
• Lead processing of invoices for trade events, working in tandem with the business unit accounting team, and with regard to overall annual team budget.
• Track and report on key performance indicators for trade partnership programs in post-event
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, production, journalism or other related field
• 5 years of experience in a B2B events and/or marketing communications role
Additional Qualifications
• Attention to detail, sense of urgency and ability to prioritize projects based on deadlines and importance
• Strong proficiency in project management software (e.g. Airtable), event management software (Splash, etc.) and presentation software (e.g. PowerPoint, Google Slides) and an eye for aesthetics
• Capability to distill complex information into simple, memorable copy, and strong, confident presentation skills
• Independent and innovative thinking to streamline and advance projects and workflows
• Positive, insatiable curiosity, resourcefulness, strong work ethic and a creative mind

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $86,000.00 - 98,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
