OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITES:
Working independently, the Sales Manager TV Licensing shall drive existing and new client sales in territories, with guidance from Regional SVP, and support from Commercial Operations. Specific duties include:
• Cultivate and upkeep sales relationships with all prospective and current licensees across assigned territories and provide market intelligence to management on request.
• Attendance at key trade shows (e.g., MipCancun, NATPE, L.A. Screenings).
• Work closely with Deal Management, Commercial Ops, Marketing, PR, Legal, Finance, and Operations, to ensure deals are properly documented and followed through on each agreement to completion, verifying servicing and payments.
• Seek new business relationships to drive revenue growth and strategic opportunities. Seek new business relationships to drive revenue growth and strategic opportunities.
• Analyze and develop business proposals.
• Manage relationships with major customers to ensure that GCD strategic and tactical objectives are achieved.
• Ensure excellence in customer relationship management and implement best practice procedures.
• Maintain up to date knowledge of industry trends and standards, including with respect to technology and content distribution.
• Liaising closely with the legal team on terms negotiations.
• Maintain Budget Updates.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Fluent language speaker in both English and Spanish
• Willingness to travel
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• IT literate, advanced Word, Excel and Outlook skills, intermediate PowerPoint
• Capable of setting business and financial targets and driving towards goal
• Demonstrable negotiation skills and good interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with colleagues, customers and suppliers and builds good working relationships
• Extensive sales experience across multiple television media
• Understanding of product windowing and associated economics
• Track record in identifying, developing, and building revenue
