Overview:
The Manager, Events and Brand Experience, will play a key role within the Paramount EBE team as we seek innovative, creative and modern ways to represent the Paramount brands on the ground/experientially for our internal clients to meet their multifaceted and phenomenal goals and needs. They will have the ability to think creatively and a willingness to support all elements of the event â€'' large and small - to deliver success.
Responsibilities
include and are not limited to:
• Working as part of the EBE team to produce a wide variety of events from large to small
• Manage all event elements including event concepting, venue research & management, premiums, on-site branding, food and beverage menu, talent and press flow, guest activities, sponsor activations, develop lead-up and on-site staffing plans, post-event recaps including KPIs/ metrics.
• Coordinate development and execution of event production and design throughout all stages of planning: submit creative briefs, implement weekly meetings for design and production, work on creative deliverables including timeline
• Budget creation, cost tracking, final report
• Responsible for generating event timelines, meeting schedules, and to help manage clients through the project planning and approval process
• Collaborate and communicate with cross functional teams to ensure brand alignment and successful outcomes i.e., creative design, social, brand marketing, brand strategy, content programming, production management, legal, press etc.
• Interacting directly with Paramount senior management and key internal contacts to build content for events
• Actively seeking out new vendors and partners to keep our events fresh and innovative
• Hiring and supervising freelance or staff coordinators/PAs and being responsible for their workflow and professional development when necessary
• Be able to develop their reports and staff through mentoring, project guidance, goal setting and corporate policies and reviews
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel), Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite desirable, but not required
Basic Qualifications:
• 5 years in Special Events and/or Event Production
Additional Qualifications:
• Project Management and Leadership experience required
• Excellent oral and written skills
• Adaptability to work as part of a team as well as independently
• Ability to build event decks for presentation to client
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Ability to balance multiple deadlines while keeping a positive demeanor
• Must be a flexible and a creative problem solver
• Must be self-motivated, organized and detail oriented
• Ability to travel, work evenings and weekends as the need arises for events
• Reports into Director, Events and Brand Experience
• Knowledge of Social Media and its potential application to events
• A natural passion for staying current on all entertainment industry trends
