OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a Manager of Content Strategy to help implement our global content strategies across multiple territories and streaming platforms. This role will work closely with stakeholders across divisions to document and implement programming strategies to drive audience acquisition, retention and growth.
Reporting to the Director of Content Strategy, this is a key role on the streaming content team and will focus on the execution of our content strategy. Working with Central and Local teams, this person will be responsible for implementing programming strategies and providing overall tracking to fuel performance. The position will be based in NYC.
Day-to-day responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Assist in developing global windowing strategy, work with Content, Marketing, and Analytics teams
• Partner with local Content Strategy and Business Operations teams on global refresh strategy, manage content alignment and delivery volume
• Support Central and Local teams in handling international content commitments, identify gaps and opportunities globally, as well as in individual markets
• Track localization and delivery timelines for global titles in partnership with Business Operations
• Support the evolution and execution of the editorial vision to drive growth and engagement for our international audience, while responding to cultural and consumer trends & business needs
• Assist Director, Content Strategy with special projects as needed
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree and/or relevant work experience
• 3-5 years of experience in streaming, linear or multiplatform programming/scheduling
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
• International experience a plus!
• Excellent multi-tasking and project management skills with strong attention to detail
• Confirmed ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong verbal and written communications skills, as well as the ability to influence and work effectively across internal and external organizations
• Ability to work independently
• Understanding of television and multi-platform viewing habits and evolving media consumption patterns
• Solid understanding of scheduling and programming strategies
• Familiarity with traditional and digital audience data, streaming technologies, digital asset management, content management systems and scheduling tools
