Overview:
Paramount Global is seeking a dedicated and experienced Information Governance Manager. The successful candidate will join our dynamic Information Governance and eDiscovery team, ensuring the compliance of our organization's electronic and physical information. This role will require close collaboration with legal professionals, IT staff, and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Support and update existing information governance processes and workflows that are currently in place; make recommendations to maximize compliance with the Company's retention policies.
• Conduct periodic reviews of retention policy with vendors and outside counsel to maintain up-to-date retention guidelines.
• Provide information governance and retention guidance when necessary to IT, business users, Information Security, Data Privacy, and other professionals as needed.
• Assess onboarding software/tools for compliance with retention policies.
• Provide support for the routine disposition process and ensure data or physical files subject to legal hold or retention are not inadvertently destroyed.
• Spearhead multiple Information Governance projects to efficiently identify, declare, and organize business records (both digital and physical)
• Implement automated processes and/or software to help employees declare business records and conduct defensible destruction of records that should no longer be retained.
• Develop and implement enterprise-wide standard processes for records and ROT, adhering to industry best practices and evolving standards.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Information Management or a related field.
• 7 years of direct experience in information governance, with experience in a mature, high-performing professional organization.
Additional Qualifications
• Experience creating and delivering robust training programs to build information governance awareness and adoption
• Experience responding to internal and external audits.
• Experience with M365, Google Vault, and associated best practices.
• Broad knowledge of compliance tools, processes, and the GRC field in general.
• Experience with writing policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of relevant laws (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA) and best practices relating to information governance and records retention.
• Knowledge of AI governance concepts and frameworks
• High-quality writing and verbal communication skills.
• High-quality analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously with professionalism and attention to detail. Work Requirements
