Overview:
This position is responsible for processing payments, and related activities, for term deals and projects in development. Also, the financial analyst is tasked with maintaining financial data and metadata in SAP financial system.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Enter contractual obligations in financial system (SAP) and maintain project metadata
• Process Cast & Crew payroll for Animation division, and Film Division when needed
• Calculate and process monthly term deal producer overhead payments in accordance with contractual terms
• Submit set-up and termination paperwork for term deal employees; compile bi-weekly timecards; process expense reports
• Liaise with payees during vendor set-up process
• Review and process invoices relating to development projects and term deals
• Prepare cost-to-date summary with interest calculation, as requested by business users
• Assist in preparation of supporting schedules for commitment management reporting
• Manage travel credit card payment and monthly reconciliation
• Prepare journal entries
• Assist in managing calendar for head of Development Finance
• Other Ad-hoc reporting as required
Basic qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance preferred
• Proficient skills in Excel (Microsoft Office Suite)
• 2 years Finance/Accounting experience
Additional Qualifications:
• SAP experience preferred but not required
• Good analytical skills; detail oriented
• Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills
Salary/Benefits
$60,000 - $72,500 /year USD
Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors.
