OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are currently seeking a highly motivated, proactive, and multitasking Financial Analyst to join the Paramount Global Residuals team! This position is a key member in our residuals department and will interact with various departments such as Production Finance and other key contacts in order to facilitate the residual payments.
Responsibilities include:
• Compare, analyze, and research information based on production and finance documents to set up shows for residual payment
• Communicate with outside payroll company to ensure accurate and timely product setup
• Support audit requests for both external and internal audits
• Support team to resolve various claims that arise
• Collaborate with various team members to ensure work is completed timely and accurately across all shows
• Perform special projects such as research and data analysis as needed
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 2 years of related industry experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree highly recommended, a focus in Accounting, Finance, or related area preferred
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong Excel knowledge to build and maintain analytical spreadsheets
• Prior work experience with applying rules from collective bargaining agreements (i.e., SAG-AFTRA, DGA, WGA) is a plus.
• Ability to interpret and apply collective bargaining agreements to the task at hand
• Self-starter, proactive, and analytical
• Possess critical thinking skills to troubleshoot issues
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Able to multitask and ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines
• Track record of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Hiring Salary Range: $55,000.00 - 65,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
