Overview:
MTV Entertainment Group (MTVE) is seeking an Executive Assistant to join our strategic development department. In this position, the Executive Assistant will support the Executive Vice President and Vice President, as well as overall departmental administrative needs. The successful candidate will be professional, reliable, organized, meticulous and tech-savvy, with the ability to prioritize and work both independently and collaboratively. This is a position that requires good judgment and discretion with confidential matters and the ability to anticipate work needs.
Responsibilities:
• Managing calendars and schedules, including coordinating meetings and conference/video calls.
• Answering and directing phone calls.
• Booking travel arrangements.
• Handling billing matters and expense reports.
• Editing and proofreading documents.
• Maintaining filing systems and organizing documents, presentations, and contacts.
• Carrying out miscellaneous administrative duties including typing, copying, scanning, etc.
• Communicating with other support teams across Paramount and 3rd party partners.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 1 year of experience (Strong internship experience considered).
• Bachelor's Degree Required
Additional Qualifications:
• Demonstrable administrative experience within the media industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of the entertainment industry, specifically scripted and unscripted television.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook/Excel and Zoom.
• Attention to detail while managing a high-volume workload efficiently and smoothly.
• Superlative communication skills and able to proactively collaborate with group members.
