Overview & Responsibilities:
The PTP Director â€'' Domestic will report into the VP of PTP (Procure to Pay) and responsible for the management of the people, processes, and projects across Paramount’s domestic line of business for the following teams: Invoice Monitoring, Disbursement, Vendor Setup, and RampUp. This position will work closely other PTP directors to identify and implement operational improvements to drive efficiency and productivity across a multifaceted changing environment offering multiple improvements opportunities. Management tasks:
• Management of the PTP resources responsible for Viacom, CBS and Paramount Domestic locations and suppliers
• Main liaison with PTP management in other locations; Nashville, Los Angeles, Buenos Aires, and Budapest
• Manages the workload and resources to maintain SLAs across all functions
• Assist with defining and growing the responsibilities of the PTP teams
• Manages the Business Services/RampUp teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness of responses to high volume RampUP cases, phone calls and emails concerning workflow questions, invoice/payment status requests and other requests from internal and external customers
• Manages international functions of the vendor setup, invoice monitoring/business services and disbursement
• Manages the fiscal review of invoices for Europe and Latin America
• Recruit, train and retain employees with ability and willingness to achieve world class results
Driving operational efficiency:
• Main contact for escalation/resolution of issues
• Perform root cause analysis aimed toward eliminating source of process problems from business environment
• Responsible for identifying process improvement opportunities
• Responsible for maintaining existing and the creation of new SOPs as needed for all PTP teams
• Develop reporting and metrics to identify resource needs, drive efficiency and to analyze trends that may help direct various business decisions
• Ensure proper monitoring/internal controls are in place throughout the PTP teams in order to maintain integrity and accuracy of financial reports along with compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Assist with internal controls compliance testing and external audits
Implementation of Global ERP and PTP related projects:
• Participate, lead and/or manage Global ERP related system implementations
• Managing M&A implementations into the PTP global process
• Works closely with the Technical Services and automation teams on identifying, creating business requirements and implementation of robotic automations
• Works closely with the Ariba technical and functions admins
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology or Organizational Management
• 10 years of managing AP/PTP processes and resources
Additional Qualifications:
• Global experience is a plus
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and OneNote
• Knowledge of SharePoint Site configuration, development and maintenance
• Experience with Financial System implementations, blueprinting and system data conversions
• Advanced knowledge of and experience with SAP ECC/SRM Systems, including technical experience with data tables, security roles and workflow processes.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools for a major ERP system, including writing/crafting reports
