Overview & Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dynamic Director of Procurement to lead Paramount’s sourcing and procurement strategies across key Professional Services categories! This leader will play a pivotal role in operationalizing the procurement strategy by managing sourcing projects, building category strategies, and ensuring strong supplier partnerships that deliver measurable savings, innovation, and long-term business value. Serving as a trusted business partner, this role will engage with Corporate, Operations, and content units to align procurement activities with enterprise objectives. This role ensures procurement delivers measurable impact to Paramount’s growth, resilience, and profitability. This role reports to the VP of Procurement.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Design the strategic roadmap for Professional Services (including, but not limited to, Legal, HR, Financial, Consulting Services and Non-IT Contingent Labor).
• Define multi-year category strategies that integrate cost transformation competitive advantage creation.
• Use market intelligence and commercial levers to deliver total cost of ownership (TCO) value beyond price negotiations.
• Partner with Finance and partners to deliver robust forecasting, cost modeling and scenario planning aligned to broader portfolio economics.
• Lead and manage sourcing projects, from RFx through contract award and execution
• Drive adoption of digital procurement tools, analytics, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and impact.
• Partner with cross-functional partners to align procurement outcomes with enterprise needs.
• Motivate change management with agility, fostering innovation while minimizing business disruption.
• Operate effectively in a fast-paced, transformational environment with adaptability, entrepreneurial thinking, and a results driven mentality.
• Demonstrate continuous learning and growth mindset, embracing challenges as opportunities.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• 10 years of procurement experience, including leadership category management.
• Proven success leading teams, engaging with partners, and collaborating seamlessly across Professional Services categories.
• Experience in strategic sourcing, category management, supplier relationship management, and contract law.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering significant cost savings, value creation, and supplier innovation.
Additional Qualifications
• Executive presence with strong communication and influencing skills to partner effectively with internal and external partners.
• Expertise in digital procurement transformation and advanced tools (e.g., AI-driven analytics, Oracle Fusion, Ariba).
• Recognized professional certifications (CPSM, MCIPS, PMP) preferred.
• Entrepreneurial mentality with adaptability, resilience, and a growth orientation in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
