CBS News Colorado has an immediate opening for a broadcast professional who will have the opportunity to work in pioneering studios, control rooms and remote field broadcasts in and around Denver! We’re looking for candidates who enjoy a fast-paced environment covering news, sports and weather across our phenomenal state. POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum of 2 years TV production and operations experience in a similar size market or comparable operation to those at KCNC required.
• The successful candidate should be a phenomenal teammate and be able to work in stressful environments and circumstances.
• Live television or similar broadcast experience is required.
• Ability to handle stress and meet deadlines is necessary.
• Proven experience in directing and Master Control is required.
• Ability to stand for several hours at a time, sit, lift 25 lbs. and climb ladders is required.
• Valid driver’s license.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $60,000.00 - 65,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
