Digital Content Journalist

CBS O&O in Dallas (KTVT) is looking for a dynamic Multi Skilled Journalist. This position is unique in that it’s focused on content beyond linear television. We’re looking for a candidate skilled in authentic delivery in storytelling style. This position will create content for all platforms but have a YouTube specific focus, creating content longer in length. This candidate should understand YouTube strategies and be able to create their own content from start to finish.

This position allows the journalist to take creative control. Must shoot, write, edit, and have knowledge of graphic design. Must also have a relatable on-air presence and the ability to deliver final news products creatively and concisely.

Candidates must be engaged digitally and understand how to utilize multi-platform content distribution.

Physical Demands: Must be able to carry and set up a camera on a tripod, have knowledge of how to light interview subjects and how to operate edit and graphics software with speed and accuracy. Experience in sound design within stories is a plus.

Candidate must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record in order to operate a company vehicle.

Journalism or allied degree preferred.
