Overview & Responsibilities:
This Corporate FP&A position will support the ongoing oversight and management of the “lifetime” profitability estimates for our Feature Films (Ultimates)
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Maintain the 10‘year ultimates for Paramount feature films
• Maintain financial models to forecast revenues and costs on a film-by-film basis o Coordinate with Distribution Groups and manage submission process of estimates into our Ultimates Hyperion System
• Manage preparation and presentation of film slate profitability reporting to senior management
• Prepare summaries of ultimate estimates for outside reporting obligations for review by senior management
• Analyze anticipated film performance comparing actuals against forecast
• Support financial planning activities for Paramount Pictures, including coordination with Business Units to prepare annual Budget, periodic updates, long range plan, and various ad-hoc analyses
• Provide support to other areas of the team including Greenlight & Deal Analysis, P&L and Cash Forecasting
• Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement
• Complete what-if analysis and ad hoc analysis as needed
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 2 years professional experience in Finance and/or Accounting
Additional Qualifications
• Strong financial modeling Excel capabilities and understanding of financial statements
• Proficient in Excel & Powerpoint
• Working knowledge of Hyperion and Essbase preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interface with various professionals at all levels
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Team player with a demonstrated ability to operate in a cross-functional team environment
• Entertainment or media industry experience strongly preferred!
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $60,000.00 - 70,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
