Overview
We are looking for a new Cash Analyst to join Paramount's Order to Cash (OTC) team in Nashville. The Cash Application Analyst will be responsible for managing high-volume cash application processes of $2.5-3 billion annually for our US operations. This role includes ensuring accurate and timely posting of payments to customer accounts, reconciling unapplied cash, and resolving discrepancies. The analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams. Based in Nashville, this position requires well-developed communication and experience in ERP systems, to ensure timely and accurate efficient cash application processes across large volumes.
Responsibilities include but not limited to
• Apply cash for US Media Cable Network cash inclusive of Linear Advertising, Affiliate, Content Licensing, Ancillary and Intercompany
• Ensure Media Cable Networks cash is posted timely and properly
• Ensure timely distribution of daily and Unapplied Cash reports
• Organize, categorize, and solve cash application mailbox inquiries
• Reconcile open items in bank clearing accounts
• Perform customer refund cash process
• Initiate internal cash transfers between US divisions in IT2 tool
• Submit manual invoice requests for cash related items
• Laise with Treasury team with identifying payments received with transfers between different divisions & Paramount Global Entities
• Investigate and contact finance team for remittance & allocation instructions
• Active participation in cash tasks for month end AR close process
• Work closely with team members to meet deadlines
• Participate in system enhancements & implementation initiatives
• Active participation in Audit ad hoc requests
• Monitor unapplied cash balances ensuring they are resolved and applied timely
• Prepare Cable Media Networks cash reconciliations
• Partnership with cash operation team on cash clearing account reconciliations
• Ensure proper write-off and other back up documentation is updated & stored for audit purposes
• Submit Audit, SOX and compliance supporting documentation on all tested controls
Basic Requirements
• 1 year of relative experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office- Excel & Word
• Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
• Team Player, have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
• Ability prioritize and meet aggressive deadlines

• Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask
• Team oriented person who can focus on details and follow up
• Ability to work with worldwide team
• SAP and Oracle, ERP knowledge is a plus
