The Paramount Retention Marketing Team seeks an Associate Copywriter to write, proofread and edit various assets that position Paramount as a leader in premium sports content with various audiences!
We are looking for a candidate who is positive and is able to work successfully, both within multiple teams and independently, and can easily accept direction and adapt to quick changes & requests!
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Crafting text copy for marquees, display, pause & partner assets
• Writing subject lines & pre-headers for various subscriber newsletters, as well as non-subscriber communications
• Writing paid social copy, search copy & affiliate emails for various campaigns, series & live games and sporting events
• Conceptualizing new and exciting ways to speak to our audience, through push & in-app notifications (including some mid-game and mid-match storyline-driven pushes), Facebook Like campaigns, Instagram Stories & more
• Helping out occasionally with additional non-sports related requests, including writing marketing copy for Nickelodeon, CBS and MTV-branded shows
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• 3 years' demonstrated experience in copywriting, editing, proofreading, media and marketing
• Ability to editorialize and go deeper in speaking to fans about their favorite players, coaches and teams
Additional Qualifications:
• Excellent writing, communication & collaboration skills
• Passion for all things sports, especially soccer, NFL, NBA and PGA
• Strong editing & proofreading skills; detail-oriented
• Organized & can manage multiple deadlines with multiple teams
• Ability to apply, maintain and enforce style guidelines
