OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES:
CBS Sacramento is looking for a dynamic advertising Account Executive tasked with developing, maintaining, and servicing accounts. This is an outside sales position in charge of generating revenue by prospecting and selling multi-media advertising solutions for our linear and streaming properties (Paramount and Pluto TV).
Key Responsibilities:
• Prospect, develop, and manage new and existing business accounts to achieve and exceed revenue goals
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through remarkable service and strategic guidance
• Identify client needs and create customized, creative multi-media advertising campaigns
• Present and sell integrated advertising solutions across broadcast, digital, and emerging platforms
• Demonstrate strong negotiation and closing skills throughout the sales cycle
• Utilize media research and ratings tools (e.g., Nielsen and similar platforms) to develop data-driven proposals
Qualifications:
• Previous sales experience preferred, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
• Strategic thinker and problem solver
• Good knowledge of Sports such as NFL, NCAA Football, Basketball, PGA Golf, WNBA and Mixed Martial Arts
• Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and consistent
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive, can-do attitude
• College degree preferred
• Valid California driver’s license
