Overview and Responsibilities:
CBS Entertainment is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support two executives in the Current Programming Department who oversee Primetime Programming.
Current Programming is responsible for overseeing all aspects of CBS scripted television shows at the Studio and on the Network. Current Programming works hand in hand with Showrunners, giving creative feedback at every step of the TV making process, as well as interfacing with all the various departments at the Studio and Network such as Casting, Business Affairs, Publicity, Marketing, etc.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• General administrative tasks including complex scheduling, screening phone calls, calendar management, processing expenses, coordinating travel, and reserving office spaces.
• Facilitating communication within the department and with other internal stakeholders.
• Coordinating schedules with other assistants for meetings and calls with co-studios, networks, and producers.
• Flagging and reviewing material to provide coverage.
• Taking notes during calls.
• Exercising discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
Basic Qualifications
• 1 years administrative experience
• Previous entertainment industry experience required.
• Bachelor's degree required.
Additional Qualifications
• Passionate and knowledgeable about the television industry.
• Strong communication, computer, and phone skills.
• Strong decision-making ability; good problem solver with the ability to anticipate issues and alternatives
• Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload efficiently and accurately while supporting a large volume of series episodes.
