CBS Baltimore, WJZ-TV is seeking an Account Executive who excels in acquiring new business and is motivated by the changing landscape of streaming and linear media. This sales opportunity is dedicated to growing revenue for Paramount Streaming, which includes CBS, Pluto TV, and Paramount , and involves integrating important linear tentpole properties like NFL Football, The Super Bowl, March Madness, The Masters, PGA Golf, NCAA Football, and The GRAMMY into client strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES / JOB DUTIES:
• Position Paramount Streaming as a core part of clients’ video advertising plans, while demonstrating how streaming and linear work together to deliver results.
• Proactively seek for and secure new business opportunities through research, cold outreach, and prospecting.
• Drive strategic sales efforts for premier live events and original content, crafting coordinated campaigns that resonate with audiences.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue goals.
• Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with new and existing clients, including direct advertisers and agency partners.
• Collaborate with internal team members, ensuring customer satisfaction and optimal performance.
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 1-3 years of media sales experience, ideally with a focus on streaming and/or linear TV.
• Natural relationship builder with a strong interest in media, marketing, and advertising
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Strong business insight with understanding of the media landscape and evolving viewer behaviors.
• Enthusiastic, resourceful, and eager to learn from expert team members.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Wide Orbit Media Sales, Wide Orbit Traffic, Operative, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Possession of a valid driver's license
• Prior experience in selling or supporting streaming campaigns is highly preferred.
• Willingness to work in Baltimore, MD, and surrounding areas, with a hybrid work arrangement.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $67,000.00 - 73,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is eligible to earn sales incentive compensation.
