We at Paramount are hiring a full-time, IBEW 403g Maintenance Technician position at the Ed Sullivan Theater!
• Responsible for maintaining, upgrading, troubleshooting and repairing the technical production facilities at the Ed Sullivan Theater including: the control room, stage, graphics, EVS, cameras, wireless communications, Avid post-production systems, wired and wireless microphones, in-house RF distribution of TV signals throughout the building, Front of House/PA audio system, Music Mix, Monitor Mix, Post Audio, Sound Effects, Snapstream, Telestream transcode and feed to the BC, Archive.
• Work with CBS Engineering on planning, installing, and implementing technical capital projects.
• Coordinate with CBS IS&T on systems that are connected to the either the Production LAN or the Corporate LAN.
Basic Qualifications
• Must have at least 5 years of experience maintaining all aspects of a broadcast production facility including:
• Audio systems (Lawo, SSL, Digico, Yamaha); wireless microphones; wireless intercom.
• Video systems (Sony HDC-4300 cameras; Sony MVX 8000X switcher, RF Wireless Video for Steadicam).
• Graphics creation and playout (Ross Xpression; Adobe Creative Suite).
• EVS Broadcast Equipment.
• Avid post-production systems.
• Large scale LED screens and projectors along with the engines feeding these systems.
• Proficiency in Audio/video distribution via RF modulated in-house head end.
• Strong experience with networking of production equipment.
Additional Qualifications
• This position requires working late nights, weekends, and company holidays as necessary.
• IP encoded video and audio streams.
• Telestream automated workflows and transcoding.

Hiring Salary Range: $122,337.28 - 122,337.28.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
