Full Time Job
This position is responsible for facilitating the localization of trailers and marketing materials for all Paramount Product. Responsibilities include:
• Supervises the execution of foreign language dubbed content to include Feature, Non-Theatrical, Television, Catalog, and corresponding marketing material content
• Collaborates with VP and dub team to create the dubbed language schedules for the translation, recording and mix processes
• Contacts studios with proposed schedules for dubbed versions
• Supervises dubbing studio workflow to ensure dubbed versions remain on schedule
• Issues purchase orders for dubbing projects, approves and submits vendor invoices for payment
• Works closely with Worldwide Legal on MSAs and DCAs for corresponding vendors and project titles
• Creates M&E notes as needed, and supervises corresponding M&E mix sessions
• Collaborates with our Sound Editors to strategize QC schedules for all dubbed audio coming in from worldwide studios, as well as sending materials outward to necessary vendors
• Requests and tracks deliverables from studios to final archival or editorial QC
• Supervises deliverables from all dubbing studios into sound editorial and archives
• Works in conjunction with VP and the dub team on mix stage management for foreign dialogue mixes
• Collaborates with Worldwide Feature Mastering on theatrical dubbing schedules, On Screen Text documents, Key Names and Phrases documents, and dubbed language deliverables for all features
• Posts dubbing documents to the community site to be accessed by dubbing studios and staff members
• Works closely with Finance to ensure budgets are aligned with territory release strategy
• Assists Managers with dubbing budget estimates as required for relevant titles
Basic Qualifications
• 3 years' experience in international servicing/distribution or closely related field
• Entertainment industry experience with knowledge of the dubbing process and post-production
• Proficiency with Excel
• Bachelor’s Degree OR equivalent experience
