Executive Assistant, Legal, Motion Picture Business Affairs
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)
Join Paramount Pictures in the heart of Hollywood as an Executive Assistant, supporting a Senior Vice President in the Motion Picture Business Affairs department. This role requires excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate Executive’s schedule and manage appointments
• Maintain and distribute weekly meeting agendas across multiple departments, including Business Affairs, Legal Affairs, Creative, and Production
• Manage priority and scheduling changes as needed
• Oversee the Executive’s calendar and contacts, ensuring timely attendance at meetings and events
• Ensure conference call bridges, meeting attendees, and logistics are in place before meetings begin
• Perform administrative tasks, including filing, e-filing, scanning, document preparation, and expense report preparation
• Build and manage database and spreadsheet files
• Screen incoming calls and correspondence, providing appropriate responses
• Coordinate conference calls and meetings with talent agencies, law firms, and internal Paramount executives
• Prepare confidential reports and correspondence
• Resolve administrative issues related to facilities, office supplies, and equipment
• Greet visitors and direct them as needed
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 1+ year of experience in administrative support
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Internet software
• Familiarity with the U.S. entertainment industry
Additional Qualifications:
• Experience supporting high-level executives, ideally within the entertainment industry
• Strong understanding of talent agencies and working with high-profile executives
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Professional maturity in handling confidential materials
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated good judgment in handling confidential and sensitive matters
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $47,000 - $56,000 per year, depending on experience, location, and qualifications. The benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability benefits, and tuition assistance.
