Overview & Responsibilities:
Our team is looking for a Coordinator, Development who will work closely with the President of Paramount Television Studios (PTVS) to support the day-to-day development and production of PTVS programs! The coordinator will participate in the development of all scripted programming from concept to series. Our ideal candidate has excellent written and communication skills and is able communicate effectively with all levels of management while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
Specific responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
• Supports series once in production
• Provides input to Business Affairs on deals
• Maintains internal status reports
• Takes diligent notes during internal recurring meetings
• Generates ideas and develop concepts
• Oversees entire creative process from concept to completion
• Provide creative feedback during the pitch/script development process and during the ongoing production
• Maintains and establishes new relationships with the creative community (writers, producers and performers), agents and managers with the end goal of identifying outside material and talent for Paramount Television
• Shares key talent, pitches & coverage with team members across all groups to generate notes, input and collaboration
Basic Qualifications:
• 3 years experience working with high-level creative executives in television and entertainment
• 2 experience working with television producers
• Proven organized self-starter able to juggle multiple tasks thoughtfully
• Efficiently maintain confidentiality and handle highly sensitive/confidential information.
• Strong development history and talent for identifying unique material
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
• A strong understanding of all social media platforms (i.e. Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
Additional Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent training
• Able to work under strict time constraints and meet deadlines
• Have the abilities to problem solve within scope of responsibility
• Involved and knowledgeable on what's going on in the industry
• Creativity and curiosity
