How do I hire a Creative Executive? Overview and Responsibilities
The Creative Executive for Paramount Pictures will be responsible for supporting senior executives across areas of development and production.
Responsibilities
to include, but not limited to:
• Assess incoming material submitted to the studio
• Generate writers and directors lists for projects in development
• Assist senior executives on all aspects of development, production, and post production, by compiling studio notes for filmmakers
• Provide creative feedback during the pitch/script development process and during ongoing productions
• Maintains and establishes new relationships with the creative community (writers, producers, and performers), agents and managers with the end goal of identifying outside material and talent for Paramount Pictures
• Attend film group staff meetings
• Support the flow of information between the creative group, business affairs and legal to track status of legal agreements
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 2 years' experience working with creative executives in film
• Involved and knowledgeable within Feature Film Entertainment Industry
• Must have strong writing and excellent communication skills
• Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management
• Must be able to work under strict time constraints and meet deadlines
• Must be detail-oriented, organized and able to handle multiple tasks
• Must be able to handle confidential information
Additional Qualifications
• Proven ability to problem solve within scope of responsibilities
• Proficient experience in Microsoft Word and Excel
