Paramount is looking for a Coordinator, Physical Production! This position is responsible for assisting the EVP of the Features physical production department.
Responsibilities
to include, but not limited to:
• Assists with administrative physical production tasks for assigned projects in development, pre-production and production stages
• Prepares department head availability lists and papers department head deals
• Act as a liaison between the production company and the studio’s creative executives assigned to the film; trouble-shoot daily production of film
• Liaison between Paramount legal and vendors
• Distributes production documents and mail and maintains office supplies
• Handles EVP’s calendar and schedule/coordinates daily meetings and appointments
• Arranges complex travel plans and itineraries, compile documents for travel-related meetings, and accompany supervisor when requested
• Answers and screens a high volume of phone calls and email, taking action when appropriate and following up
• Arranges programs, events, or conferences by arranging for facilities, issuing information or invitations, coordinating speakers, and controlling event budget
• Directs preparation of records such as agenda, notices, minutes, and resolutions for corporate meetings
• Acts as custodian of corporate documents and records
• Composes and prepares confidential correspondence, reports, and other documents such as expense reports
• Builds and maintains databases and spreadsheet files
• Performs additional administrative duties such as filing, typing, and copying documents
Qualifications
/skills:
• Minimum 2-4 years related experience
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Movie Magic and EP internet software
• Familiar with a variety of industry concepts, practices, and procedures
• Familiarity with industry-standard programs (i.e., Scenechronize)
Desired skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Ability to be adept at multi-tasking, prioritizing, and managing projects in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with staff, other administrators, internal and external customers and senior management
• Organized and detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple high priorities
