Overview:
We are actively recruiting for a Coordinator to join the growing Corporate Communications group at Paramount Pictures! This team manages Paramount's internal and external communications, including press releases and other media coverage. The Coordinator will report to the Vice President, Corporate Communications and will also support the Executive Director and Manager, Corporate Communications. This position will play an integral role on the team providing administrative support and completing work to further the group's goals.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in preparing all necessary research for building corporate strategies
• Maintain and update press lists, including larger outlets, relevant newsletters, bloggers
• Maintain and update editorial calendars
• Coordinate execution of internal and external communications including press releases, e-blasts and premiere invites
• Handle media coverage and compile clips to distribute internally
• Serve as liaison to other departments within Paramount to facilitate collaboration among departments
• Provide administrative support to team including preparation of expense reports, booking travel, scheduling of meetings, and handling incoming and outgoing calls as required
• Process POs and ensures that all invoices are paid in a timely manner
• Prepare records such as agendas, notices and minutes for meetings
• Assist with concepts and content for social media platforms
• Help with planning and staffing internal and external events
• Track and pitch panel speaking opportunities for film executives
• Stay current on industry news, flagging issues and trends to department in timely manner
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum two years relevant work experience
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Detail oriented and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Motivated self-starter
• Demonstrates resourcefulness in identifying solutions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficient with social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat
